Co-Founder, Kiyoka Tokumasu 🇺🇸🇯🇵🇸🇪🌏
Kiyoka was born and raised in New York City and Japan, and experienced studying abroad in Sweden.
Her experiences and identity as a Japanese American and a Third Culture Kid has instilled in her a global perspective and a strong passion to be an active force in shaping a better world.
Passionate about being a bridge that connects Japan, the United States, and the world and spreading a positive impact, Kiyoka co-founded Voices of Selfmade to create diverse opportunities for youths to connect with the world.
Kiyoka is a former competitive gymnast of the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympics. She has been selected as a representative of youth at various international stages such as the One Young World Summit, the world's biggest and most impactful leadership summit for youth.
She graduated from the International Christian University with honors.
Her life motto is “Be the Change You Wish to See in the World” by Mahatma Gandhi.

Co-Founder, Yuzo Tokumasu 🇺🇸🇯🇵🌏
Yuzo was born and raised in New York City and Japan.
His experiences and identity as a Japanese American and a Third Culture Kid has instilled in her a global perspective and a strong passion to be an active force in shaping a better world, which led him to co-founding Voices of Selfmade.
Passionate about marine biology and ocean conservation, he actively organizes microplastics workshops and beach clean-up events to raise awareness of issues facing our ocean.
As a hobby, he enjoys exploring scuba diving spots, and recently experienced coral planting diving in Okinawa Prefecture of Japan.
He is currently a student at the International Christian University.
