I am a Third Culture Kid that grew up in a very diverse environment where there was no doubt about respecting, accepting and appreciating each other's differences.
I was born and raised by Japanese parents in New York in the United States, which is called the "Melting Pot".
Being a Third Culture Kid makes me think of the importance of having an open minded perspective, making an effort to understand others with compassion, and having the passion and curiosity to discover the world around you.
