A picture I took at Gothenburg Central Station on the day I arrived in Gothenburg City for my exchange studies. Where my adventure in Sweden began!
The image on the post card is of a Tram in Gothenburg which I use everyday to get around the city.
Gothenburg is aiming to have a 100% zero emission public transportation system by 2030. Currently, more than 90% of the public transportation (such as the buses and ferries) runs on renewable energy!
The city have been awarded as the “World’s most Sustainable Destination” by the Global Destination Sustainability Index for six consecutive years, including this year 2022!
